• AC went out and already had a leaking coil unit so I decided to replace my old 4.0 ton Rheem 13 SEER A/C. I needed to get quick service as my wife was 36 weeks pregnant at the time. I called around and had three different companies quote me for replacing the (outside) compressor and the (indoor) coil. With 3 quotes in hand I had to make a decision quickly (remember the pregnant wife is at home all day in the heat). Out of the three vendors,
  
  Phil, the owner of "The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning" was very helpful with cost options for designing a new A/C system for the house. There is also up to $1500 tax credit for systems equal and over 16 SEER rating and he factored that into the options for new systems. I decided on a new 16 SEER Maytag system and they came to install it the next day. The system was all stainless steel and looks great outside my house. The installation crew, Lee and Stephen, installed the system perfectly and took pride in their work to leave us with a beautiful, efficient system that will save us money on our electric bill and last for years to come.
  
  The company has 2 years labor warranty standard and the Maytag system has a 12 year warranty leaving me with peace of mind knowing I won't be paying for new parts in the near future. Aside from the company being highly professional, they were very personable and great with my dog Cooper. They showed up when they said they will show up and cleaned up very well after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service or new installation / replacement of old equipment and therefore give them 5 stars……Jeremy

• To whom it may concern. On October 5th, 2009 at 7 am my wife Donna and I awoke to realize that our air conditioner had stopped working. Thirty minutes later at 7:30 am, I phoned Phil Musial at The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning. Phil was very understanding and was at our home by noon that day. If you have ever needed an AC Man, you know how remarkable that fact is.
  
  Phil was understanding and went immediately to work. The sad news came quickly as we learned that we would need to replace a major component. Phil took the time to clearly explain the problem and all our options. The system was old, so we decided to upgrade to a new high efficiency system. He agreed to move quickly to get the system up and running. By 4 pm the following afternoon, with the new system in place, our home began to quickly cool down again.
  
  All of the members of Phil’s team were true professionals in every sense of the word. While no one wants to have to go through the hassle of replacing their heating and air conditioning, all of the professionals at The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning made it as painless as possible. They not only did a superior job of replacing our system, they cleaned after themselves so we truly did not have to do a thing.
