WWe’ll perform a Heat Gain / Loss Calculation
When you decide it’s time for a complete new system, our designer will analyze your home and input this data into an advanced software program that will yield the appropriate system size and design, that is both optimized for efficiency and comfort.

All homes are different and have special design considerations. Many contractors will try to use “Rule of Thumb” equations, but these are at best, just a guess.

This is a crucial element considering that as many as 80% of homes have an oversized Air Conditioning system. An oversized system will cool the air too quickly and will not dehumidify air adequately. If the air is too humid, you will need to select a cooler temperature to feel comfortable as opposed to having a properly sized unit that properly dehumidifies the air. An oversized system will also cycle ON/OFF more frequently which could reduce system life. Further, it cost more money to run a larger unit, thus wasting more money.

WWe’ll inspect and evaluate your ductwork and air returns
As mentioned earlier, if you have leaky ducts and undersized return air ducts, your new system will not achieve anywhere near the advertised efficiency values. Surprisingly, approximately 40% of residential homes have undersized return air ducts! Just like you need fresh air to breathe, so does your HVAC system.

If there is not enough air available, it essentially “chokes” your system and creates a multitude of problems and performance issues. If your ductwork is old and non-insulated, it most likely will need sealed, repaired or replaced with insulated R-6 or R-8 ducting.

If your air conditioner or furnace looks like these, then it may be time to replace it!

Home for saleWWe’ll evaluate your air filtering needs
According to the American Lung Association ®, indoor air pollution poses a threat to respiratory health and everyone should consider doing what they can to improve the quality of indoor air. Whole house air cleaners have been shown to minimize the ill effects of indoor air pollutants, such as dust, pet dander, pollen, and chemicals, as well as reduce airborne viruses and bacteria. We are experienced in air quality evaluation and can help you assess your family's indoor air quality needs.

Home for saleWInstall and regulate your new system for optimum performance.
The following graph demonstrates how important a quality installation is. We’ll insure proper levels of refrigerant and airflow across the coil. We’ll balance the ductwork for proper air delivery. We’ll program your thermostat to meet your family’s needs.

After the installation is complete: We’ll show you how to program your thermostat. Or, we would be happy to do it for you. We’ll demonstrate how to replace the air filters. We’ll leave all documents and user manuals.
